Peter Twiraga,
Band Director

Peter Twiraga received a B.A. in Professional Music from Berklee College of Music in 2011. He is currently working on his Masters in Middle/Secondary Education at UMass Boston.  Since 1999 Peter taught in the Easton Public Schools working as the Pit Band Director, A Capella Director and Musical Orchestra Pit Director. As the Pit Band Director his group won Best Instrumental Ensemble 1999-2010 at the Eastern Show Choir Festival. Since 2001 Peter has taught at King Philip Regional High School as the Brass Instructor and the Director of Jazz Ensemble II. During his time there the Marching Band received 13 straight Gold Medals at the MICCA State Finals, was a three time USSBA National Champion and 3 time BOA Regional Champion. Peter has also spent time teaching the Jersey Surf Drum and Bugle Corps and the East Coast Jazz Drum and Bugle Corps. The Jersey Surf in 2007 won a Open Class Silver Medal and the award for High Brass. In 2006 the East Coast Jazz one the Open Class Silver Medal.
